Meet Your Stylist.

Finding a great hairstylist is a bit like chasing down the perfect cup of coffee. Sometimes you need to try out a few cafes before you find your favorite cuppa! We want to create a phenomenal experience for you, from start to finish. We invite you to take a moment to get to know us even before you set foot in the door, and if we are a good fit we hope to meet you soon.

Our Team.

What makes us special? We are a great pair with unique skills to meet your needs. While Karla is known for her cutting skills with passion for pixie cuts, and bobs, Linda is renowned for her penchant for color corrections and blonding!

You'll find only GOOD, GOOD things at BonBon Salon, and our guests agree. You are welcome here and we invite you into our suite for a bon, bon experience!

Karla Jean - Style shaper. Image maker.

Hi, I'm Karla Jean. I'm not afraid to say that I'm known for being warm, vivacious, and, perhaps, even inspirational, because it is my joy!

I've experienced the life and pressures of owning two salons, in Brooklyn and Charleston, for over 15 years.

After overcoming a battle with breast cancer, including chemo, radiation, countless surgeries, and the inevitable hair loss, I chose to simplify having an intimate salon suite, where I can focus on what I do best - your hair!

While in NYC I trained and worked up close with celebrity stylists, including John Sahag, Vivienne Mackinder, and Nick Arrojo of TLC’s reality show What Not to Wear.

My experience with being, well, BALD, followed by an experience with autoimmune alopecia aerate, has fueled my passion to help others regain their confidence through hair and scalp-health services, extensions, and temporary hair restoration.

But, beauty is not my only passion - I'm a little bit of a foodie which makes Charleston a lovely place to live! I also love to indulge a bit in foraging for native herbs and medicinal plants for teas and tinctures for my family.

Linda - hairstylist, former Ulta and Wella color educator.

Hi, I'm Linda, and I've been a hairstylist/educator for 34+ years as a Wella Professional, where we believe hairdressing is a unique combination of craft and inspiration.

I specialize in blonding and corrective color, but love all aspects of hair design. I am passionate about helping my guests make their hair vision a reality.

I love to cook and have recently become a beekeeper with our first honey harvest in 2023.
